How long does setup take? +
Most associations are fully configured within 1 business day. The setup wizard walks you through community structure, unit registry, assessment schedule, and board contacts. If you have a unit roster in Excel or CSV, we import it directly. You won't be starting from scratch.
Can you import our existing data? +
Yes. We import unit registries, owner directories, assessment schedules, and open work orders from CSV, Excel, or your prior AMS export. Contact us after signup and we'll handle the migration. No re-keying hundreds of unit records.
Can we manage multiple associations? +
Yes. GatePost supports multi-community access. CAM managers can switch between associations with a single login. Each association is $249/mo — your second and third communities are the same flat rate, no scaling penalty.
Is GatePost compliant with Florida HOA and condo law? +
GatePost is built specifically for Florida FS 718 (condominiums), FS 720 (HOAs), FS 719, and FS 617. The built-in statute research tool covers all four plus FAC, DBPR regulations, Fair Housing Act, and ADA — with cited answers, not paraphrases. The compliance calendar tracks Florida-specific statutory deadlines. GatePost is not a substitute for licensed legal counsel, but it means you show up to those conversations informed.
What happens if we cancel? +
Cancel anytime from your account settings — no penalty, no lock-in. Your data is yours. We'll export the full database (units, owners, payments, documents, work orders) in CSV format on request. Your data is not deleted for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to transition.
